Dalyn Kyle Askew

Dalyn Kyle Askew, 23 years old, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024. He was born on October 12, 2000. His friendly disposition, smile, and laughter will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Dalyn attended Lookout Valley schools and graduated from Penn Foster High School. He played baseball, football, and wrestled during his middle school years. He was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church where he was baptized at the age of 9. In recent years, he attended Tiftonia Baptist Church. Dalyn spent two years at Calvary House, a ministry of Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He also spent several months at the Renew Ministry of Calvary Chapel in Chattanooga, Tennessee.    

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Don Dixon, and Bonnie Dixon. He leaves behind his parents Matthew (Stephanie) Askew, and Kim Dixon; grandparents, Kyle and Kay Askew; siblings, Brayden Moyer, Aniston Fraley, Miller Askew, Hayden Scheeler, Lucas Heramb, Jacob Heramb, Judah Heramb and, Alexandria Heramb; aunts Donna (Barry) Falls, Meghan Appleberry, Morgan (Chris) Morgan, and uncle Danny (Tonya) Dixon as well as several cousins.

Family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Calvary Chapel of Chattanooga from 11:00-1:00 p.m. A celebration of life service will follow at 1:00 p.m. and a graveside service at Lakewood Gardens West.
