Alvin Mcnabb

Alvin Nathan McNabb was born August 31, 1953. He passed away June 11, 2023, surrounded by
family. He has been married to his loving wife Robin McNabb for 47 years.
Alvin retired from Erlanger Medical Center after 39 years of service as a locksmith. He served
his country in the U.S. Army-2 nd LT. and the TN Army National Guard. He graduated class of 1973
from Kaisernslaughtern American High School, Kaisernslaughtern, Germany.
He was an avid hunter and outdoors man and loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He
is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who know him.
He is preceded in death by parents: Clifford “Tip” McNabb and Bonnie (Bolton) McNabb;
brother Charles L. McNabb Sr.; paternal grandparents: Silas William McNabb and Mary Ann
(White) McNabb; maternal grandparents: Charles Scott Bolton and Jimmie (Jackson) Bolton.
He is survived by his loving wife Robin Denise (Faile) McNabb; two daughters: Melissa (Clint)
Hayes and Ashley (Greg) Ellis, four grandchildren: Jessie (Lauren) Hayes, Garrett Hayes, Nicholas
Foster, and Haleigh Foster; two great-grandchildren: Rosalind Elizabeth “Rose” Hayes and Ella
Denise Hernandez Foster; siblings: brother Lamar (Shirley Ann) McNabb and sister Ann (Jim)
Pruett and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from 5-8pm. Graveside service will be held at McNabb Cemetry Thursday,
June 15, 2023, at 2pm. Pallbearers will be Jessie Hayes, Garrett Hayes, Nicholas Foster, Anthony
Hernandez, Reece Bolton, and Clinton Hayes. Greg Ellis to speak at the Graveside service.
Services have been entrusted to Chattanooga Memorial Funeral Home, 144 Browns Ferry Road
