Bettye Ruth Hall Parris, born July 26, 1936, in Flintstone, Ga, was called to her heavenly home at the age of 88, on Saturday, October 26, 2024, with her loving family by her side.
A former employee of Walmart, Ms. Bettye, never met a stranger, loved all her co-workers and friends, but most of all her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William (Gene) Parris, Grandson William David Parris, Mother Beatrice Bandy, brother Richard (Jiggs) Hall, and sister Gail Campbell.
She is survived by her children: Bill (Susan) Parris, Lynn (Garry) Roach, Barbara (Buster) Stone, and Mike (Mary) Parris, all of Chattanooga. Grandchildren: Nikki (Jeremy) Pruitt, Jennifer (Brandon) Blevins, Shelby Parris and Todd Trusley all of Chattanooga, Trey (Rachel) Stone of Trenton, Ga, Crystal Nauman and Alyson (Marty) Marter of Harrison, TN, Ashley Beatty of Jacksonville, Fl. 13 Great Grandchildren: Jaxson Blevins, Breelyn Blevins, Remy Blevins, Trinity (Brian) Baskowsky, Noah Nauman, River Stone, Madison Pruitt, Caitlin Pruitt, Brayden (Tubby) Pruitt, Landon Cook, Lucas Marter, Cameron Beatty, and Eli Beatty. As well as three Great Great Grandchildren: Emory Blair, Case Osborne, and Callie Osborne.
Her Pallbearers will be Brandon (Red) Blevins, Jaxson (Jackpot) Blevins, Trey (J.J.) Stone, Brayden (Tubby) Pruitt, Marquis Coffey, and Jeremy Pruitt.
Visitation will be on Tuesday 10/29/24 from 11am-8pm and Wednesday from 11am – 1:30 pm, followed by a graveside service at Lakewood Memorial Gardens West at 2 pm.
