Bonnie Welling Hoffman, the widow of William Hoffman Sr., was 71 years old and passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 18th 2020. Mrs. Hoffman was a resident of Montgomery, NY for most of her life. Survived by two daughters, Barbara and her husband Bill Carson of Ringgold, GA. and Laurieann and her husband Eugene Carson of Tunnel Hill, GA and a son Francis and his wife Kimberly Hoffman of Walden NY, as well as two step children, the late William Hoffman Jr. and Kathy Jacke, and numerous grandchildren including Giancarlos, Eric, Nicky, and Isabella Hoffman of Exxon, PA, Shawn Carson of Walden, NY, Stephanie Carson of Middletown, NY, John Hoffman of Utah, Joey and Gabrielle Jacke of Port Jervis, Amanda Wuelfing of Ringgold, GA, and Eddie Wuelfing of Nassau, NY, Christopher, Madison and Hailey Hoffman of Walden, NY; also great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie Hoffman worked at the Thruway Market in Walden, New York. She also worked as a CNA at Arden Hill Hospital in Goshen, New York, and the Valley Central School System in Montgomery, New York. Bonnie Hoffman was a member of the Montgomery Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years and she also loved to crochet. Bonnie Hoffman loved children and was know most of her live as the neighborhood mom.
There will be a memorial service at the home of Bonnie Hoffman’s daughter Barbara Carson at a later Date. All condolences’, donations and flowers can be sent to 40 Cindy Circle, Ringgold, Georgia 30736. There has also been a “gofundme” page set up in Bonnie Hoffman’s name.
