Donald Wayne Toney, 75, of Scottsboro, Alabama, passed away on November 18, 2024. He was born on November 3,1949, to David and Lucy Toney in Stevenson, Alabama.

Donald retired from TVA after years of employment. He then worked at Maples in Scottsboro. Donald was an avid Alabama football fan. He enjoyed sitting around listening to good music and watching old movies. But more than any of these things; he enjoyed his family the most.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents: David and Lucy Toney, brothers: David Toney, Arthur Joe Toney, James Toney, and Aaron Toney, sisters: Dorothy Miles, Sidney Roberts, and Sue Elledge.

Those left to cherish his memory: Sister Jackie Gainer, Brothers: Marion Toney and Fred Toney (Susan), along with many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

A memorial service for family and friends will take place at a later date.
