Frank William Bennett age 74 passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Bennett was born February 14, 1943 to the late Herbert and Gladys Bennett in Detroit, Michigan. True to his birth month and day, Mr. Bennett had a big heart full of love for his family. He was a very sweet, caring, giving and loving man. His wisdom, work ethic and strong will set a lasting example for his children and grandchildren. His hobbies included watching Michigan football, playing the lottery and gambling at the casino. Although he enjoyed the chance of the game, he also enjoyed the winnings of the game. Mr. Bennett could take twenty-dollars into a casino and come out with hundreds. He knew when to stop for he was a frugal and financially conscious individual.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bennett is preceded in death by his children, James and Carrie Bennett and granddaughter, Nikki Scott and sister, Joyce Bennett.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Madlene (Robert) Inman, Herbert Eugene Bennett and Frank William Bennett, Jr.; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; siblings, Alice, Elaine, Jim, Mark, Herbert, Billy Bennett and his girlfriend of thirty years, JoAnn Griffith.

Family will receive friends 1-3PM, Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Stocking Funeral Home Harrison, Michigan.

Funeral services will be 3PM, Sunday, September 24, 2017 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will immediate follow the service in the Evergreen Cemetery Harrison, Michigan.
