Gordon Woodrow Moree, Jr. age 76 of Jasper passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016. He was a member of Baptist Hill Church and retired from Chattanooga Times Free Press after forty-seven years. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon, Sr & Mary Belle Moree; brother, Bill Moree; brother-in-law, Mike Foster.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of fifty-five years,
Kat Moree of Jasper; children, Mary (Paul) Page of Jasper, Woody (Sam) Moree of Sylvania, Alabama, Sandra (Leon) Bailey of Jasper and Erik (Candice Harte )Moree of Jasper; sister, Linda Foster; grandchildren, Chris Moree, Jessica Reeves, Ashley (Mike Hairding) Duke, Amanda Alder, Brian Moree, Keith Moree, Heath Bailey, Austin Page, Sierra Murdock, Kylie Moree; great grandchildren, Owen Hollis, Kelsey Alder, Camilla Moree, Mariah Alder, Isabella Hollis, Maddison Moree, Logan Alder; sister-in-law, Susie Moree.
