Obituary
Harley Glenn Woody, Sr. age 85 of Lookout Valley closed his eyes and opened them in the arms of his wife, Jean on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Glenn was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Woody; parents, Robert & Mayme Woody; sisters, Velma (Johnny) Mizell & Jinky (Bill) Rogers. He was an avid softball, baseball player and he loved family ballgames. Glenn spent over forty years, working at Colonial Bakery. You could always find Glenn mowing grass or front porch sitting.
Those left to treasure his memories are his children, Glenda (Mike) Tate and Harley (Dale) Woody both of Lookout Valley; brother, Buddy (Dot) Woody of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Jay (Beth) Eller, Crissy (James) Emmett, Crystal (Justin) Tipton & Cristen (Lewis) Gillman; great grandchildren, Olivia & Abby Eller, Colton, Kendal & Connor Emmett, Briley & Braxton Tipton & Weston Townson.
Family will receive friends 3PM-8PM, EST, Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Chattanooga Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral Service 1PM, EST, Monday, July 11, 2022 at Chattanooga Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Garrett Ragan officiating. Interment to follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens West
