James Price Ake Obituary

James Price Ake, age 69, of New Hope passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a member of The Local 454 Boilermakers and preceded in death by his parents, Luther “Ed” Ake & Annie Bell Mount; sister, Francis Ann Ake.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Diane Ake of New Hope; step father, Bradley Mount, Jr. of Kimball; children, Michael (Beth) Ake of Chattanooga, Kelley (John) Burroughs of Riceville, Clinton Hobbs, Janie (Jackie) Daniel both of Dunlap; brothers, Edward Ake of South Pittsburg, Dennis Mount of Stevenson, Carl Mount of Whitwell, Jeffery Mount of Kimball; nine grandchildren and one great grandson.

Family will receive friends 12PM-8PM, Saturday, March 2, 2019 and 12PM- 8PM, Sunday, March 3, 2019

Funeral Service 2PM, Monday, March 4, 2019 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Michael Ake and Rev. Rodney McGill. Interment to follow at Mt Carmel Cemetery in Alabama.
