James Dale Johnson

James Dale Johnson of Kimball, TN. went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Dale enjoyed traveling, collecting antiques, gardening, working in his yard and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He will forever be remembered for the kindness he showed to others and the love and friendship he spread to those he cared for. He worked as a truck driver for Lohiost North America. He was preceded in death by his father James Carl Johnson, mother Sarah Ann Ake Johnson, twin sister Gail Johnson Smith and brother Ronnie Johnson.

Dale is survived by his wife of 12 years, Edith Marshall Johnson of Kimball. His sons Robbie (Jimmie) Johnson, Alex (Rebecca) Westmoreland; daughters Sherry (Chris) Worley, Susan Gonzalez, Adale (Mike) White. His grandchildren Logan Gonzalez, Colby Gonzalez, Avianna Westmoreland, Ella Westmoreland and Nora Westmoreland. Kailey (Tyler) Phillips, Kacie (Corrie) Johnson, Justin Cherkoian, Halley Taylor, Holly Taylor, Braylin Johnson, Kayla Johnson and Mikey White. Great Grandchildren Adriella Gonzalez, Makenna Phillips, Sarah Cherkoian, Kinsley Cherkoian, Nevaeh Taylor, Ellie Clements, Victory Taylor, Shyanna Young, Caden Johnson and Gracie White and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 19, 12-6pm cst. and Friday January 20, 9-11:30 am cst. Chapel service will be held Friday at 11:30 am cst. with Bro. Darrell Nunley and Bro. David Gudger officiating. Dale will be laid to rest at Lynch Family Cemetery in Kimball, TN.
