Joanne Willis Barnes Obituary

Joanne Willis Barnes age 72 of Whitwell, TN passed Tuesday, February 20, 2018. She was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church and also was a substitute teacher in the Marion County Schools for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents Everette and Ann Long Willis; brothers Jim D. Willis, Nick Willis, Dick Willis, and Thomas Willis.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Darrell Barnes; children, Andy Barnes and Schultzie Barnes; Sister, Peggy (Tommy) Thompson; grandchildren, J.J. Barnes, Wyatt Skiles, and Ivy Barnes; several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 1PM-8PM, Friday, February 23, 2018.

Funeral Services 2PM, Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the funeral home chapel Jasper, Tennessee.

Interment will be at Sardis Cemetery, Whitwell, Tennessee.
