Joshua M. Layne age 57 of Sequatchie, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Mr. Layne was a member of Layne’s Chapel Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. John & Oma Layne; brother, Matthew Layne.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, LaJuana Layne; step-sons, Patrick Phillips, Aaron Phillips; brothers & sisters, Janice Kilgore of Sequatchie, Benny Layne of Smyrna, Roger Layne of Vermillion, Ohio, Charlotte Witt of Signal Mtn., Joan Shell of Dunlap, Caleb Layne of Tracy City; grandchildren, Paige, Amaya, Kamryn, Kendyl, Brionna, & Zander; close friends, Jim Bob Layne, JW Ruth, Roger Powell; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends 1-8PM, Friday, August 31, 2018.

1-8PM, Saturday, September 1, 2018.

All family and friends are welcome.

Funeral services will be at 2PM, Sunday, September 2, 2018 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ronnie Vandergriff officiating. Interment at Layne’s Chapel Cemetery.
