Junior Atterton age 60 of Whitwell passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020. He was employed by Tennessee American Water Company and preceded in death by his son, Scott Atterton, father, Paul E. Atterton. Junior loved sports and spent a lot of his time coaching Whitwell High School Football and Baseball.

Those left to treasure his memories are his sons, Bryan P. Atterton of Alabama, and Chance Atterton of Whitwell; best friend, Baby Jane Deason of Cleveland; mother, Gladys M. Atterton; siblings, Kenny Atterton, Robin Atterton Nipper, and Rhonda Atterton all of Whitwell; granddaughter, Alexus J. Atterton.

The family will announce a Memorial Service later date.
