Lavern " Bubbie" Ruth- Laurie age 64 of Estill Springs formerly of Jasper, Tennessee passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 14, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman W. "June" and Fannie Kay.

Those left to cherish his memories are his devoted husband, Anthony F. Ruth-Laurie, Jr.; loving children, Alisha (Lisa) Miller and Eric (Jessica) Ruth; siblings, Kenny ( Dawn) Ruth, Sheila Graves, Kathy (Arnold) Graham, Pam (Kim) Morrison, Lamar (Denise) Ruth; grandchildren, Kaylin Rose, Killian, Pheobe, Annora, Torrin, Katerina, Colin; former wife and partner, Patricia D. Ruth.

He had a million dollar smile, and an infectious laugh. He loved and supported his family in every path they chose to travel. He never met a stranger, and was always giving. He loved gardening and flowers and all type of music. He will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
