Lawrence “Pee Wee” Douglas Puryear, 61, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on November 7, 2024. He was born on November 4, 1963, in Chattanooga, Tn, to Don and Arlette Puryear.
Lawrence was a professional piddler. He was very goofy and a joy to those he was close to. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He was a very talented musician and drummer. He was a big fan of watching football and the Tennessee Vols were his favorite. He loved tinkering with cars, tractors and various farm equipment. Often, he was seen taking care of his parents’ property. More importantly he loved his daughter Megan and was a wonderful, loving and supportive daddy to her.
The surviving family includes his daughter Megan (Danie) Puryear, parents Don Sr. and Arlette Puryear, his sisters Lisa (George)Cupp and Danita (Richard) Fansler, brother Don Puryear Jr., three nieces Laura Cupp, Sarah Cupp (Brandon), and Mia Fansler, numerous other extended family and friends.
The family is planning to have a memorial service in the future. Once the family has decided on a date and time it will be updated on Chattanooga Memorial Funeral Home`s website as well as on the Facebook post. If you would like to attend, please be on the lookout for this update.
