Linda Haire Elmore

Linda Haire Elmore of Whitwell, TN. passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and Nana/Nanny. She was passionate about her love for God, her family, her church, and animals. Her hobbies were her church, talking on the phone, reading love story novels and watching t.v. She let everyone know her biggest desire was that all her family be saved. She was the matriarch of the family and had the heart of a servant who always took care of everyone. She was simple and down to earth and never had big dreams or aspirations of being anything other than a wife, mother and grandmother. She was never interested in a career as it took too much time from family. She was not much of a traveler as she said her only desired destinations were her home and heaven. She was a best friend to so many. She will be remembered for her heart, laugh, smile, and feistiness. She will forever be in our hearts until we are reunited with her again in heaven.

She was preceded in death by her Father Clifford Haire and Mother Evelyn ( Freeman) Haire and three brothers; James Haire, Joel Haire and Carlton Haire.

Those left to cherish her memory are her Husband Robert P. Elmore of Whitwell, TN. Her brother Arthur (Linda) Haire of Cleveland, TN. and sister Cathy (David) Stribling of Dallas, GA. Children; Stacey ( Joe) Fuhrman of Seminole, Fla., Robert Elmore Jr. of Whitwell, TN., Billy Elmore of Whitwell, TN., Misti ( Tony) Pilgrim of Whitwell, TN., and Andrew ( Stacie) Elmore of Chattanooga, TN. Grandchildren; Corey & Haley Fuhrman, Wade & Mollie Elmore, B.J. Elmore, Amber Merz, Austin Pilgrim, Alex Pilgrim, Summer Pilgrim, Isabell Pilgrim, Madison Pilgrim, Emberly Elmore. Great-grandchildren; Rylee Miller, Elijah Yell, Aveah Merz, Brayden Eugene Kirk Guerin, Hazley Nicole Jones, Matthew Oliver Childress and Johnny Andrews Childress.

Family will receive friends for visitation, Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Victory Baptist Church from 11am - 1pm. Service will begin at 1pm with Pastor Mike Graham officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper, TN.
