Marvin David Cornett

Marvin David Cornett was born December 24, 1935, in Cromona, Kentucky. He served in the United States Air Force and retired from General Motors in Ohio before he moved to Whitwell, Tennessee. Marvin passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022, and was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert & Virgie Cornett; siblings, Terry Cornett, Glenna Wheeler, Wilma DeSimone, Elaine McMullen & O. Dean Cornett.

Those left to treasure his memories are his wife of sixty-one years, Marianne Cornett of Whitwell; children, Marissa Fiore of Newnan, Georgia & Craig Cornett of Athens, Ohio; granddaughters, Lola Cornett, Estrella Cornett, Natalie Camrud & Anneliese Camrud.

Graveside Service 12PM, Central Time Zone Friday, October 28, 2022, at Forest Hills Cemetery 4016 Tennessee Avenue Chattanooga, Tennessee (423) 821-4161. Pastor Mike Campbell will officiate and interment to follow.
