Robert “Bobby” Womack went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 16th. He was surrounded by his beloved wife of 61 years, his children and grandchildren. He married Betty Rhodes on August 2nd, 1963. He retired from Sequatchie Handle Works after being employed for 40+ years. Bobby loved to coon hunt, ride his motorcycle, fishing and Alabama football.

Bobby was proceeded in death by his father Homer Womack, mother Thelma Womack and granddaughter, Emily Womack.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Womack of Sequatchie, Tn. Their children J.R.(Sue) Womack of Sequatchie, TN., Tommy (Lynn) Womack of Sequatchie, TN., Ronnie (Shannon) Womack of Sequatchie, TN., and Dale (Stephanie) Womack of Whitwell, TN. His brother Jack (Kathy)Womack. He had 12 Grandchildren, 32 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild and his extended family and many friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, July 17, from 4:00 to 8:00pm and Friday, July 18 from 2:00 to 3:00pm. Funeral service will begin at 3:00 with interment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper, Tn.
