Samuel Edward Murray, Jr.

Samuel “Ed” Murray, Jr. age 52 of South Pittsburg passed away Thursday, Sept 2, 2021. He was employed by Mann Welding and a member of The National Guard, as a staff sergeant. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel E., Sr. & Doris Murray; sister, Patsy E. Murray; In-Laws, Jimmy & Barbara Carson.

Those left to treasure his memories are his wife, Lisa Murray of South Pittsburg; his children, Hunter Murray & Maggie of Hendersonville, Cory Murray & Kaley of South Pittsburg; his sister, Connie Hall; brother & sister-in-law, Wesley & Tina Steele; nieces, April & Donnie Dalton, Carlene Holcomb, Jersey, Madison & Lyla (Baby Blue Eyes) Steele; nephew, Nick Holcomb; great nieces, Maddi Dalton & Ashlyn Smith; and great nephew, Javen Talley.

Family will receive friends between 11AM-3PM, Sunday, 09/5/2021.

Funeral Service at 3PM, Sunday, 09/05/2021 with Pastor Greg Steele officiating. Interment to follow at Tate Cemetery in Battlecreek.
