Stephen Monroe Lusk, 75, of 2025, Ga. passed away at home surrounded by family on January 24, 2025.
Steve was a devout Christian and Vietnam Veteran. He was an incredibly talented musician, playing in a bluegrass gospel band, "Gospel Grass", with his wife, Frances, niece, Wanda, and great -nephew, Terry. Steve loved God, his job as a truck driver, playing instruments (especially the banjo), and being silly with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jo Tinker Lusk, father, Pleasant Monroe Lusk Jr., in-laws Bruce and Florance Rollins of Whitwell Mountain, and siblings, David Frye and Rose Mary Schuler.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Frances Rollins Lusk, daughters Kim Neff and Jennifer (Stan) Andreika, sister Sybil (John) Breiwa, caretaker and eldest granddaughter, Cristyn Benya, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 28, at 12:30- 8:00 pm and Wednesday, January 29, at from 12:00-1:00 pm with services beginning at 1:00 pm. Graveside service will be at 2:00 pm at Boydston Cemetery.
