Terry Ryan Smith Smarttage 41 of Chickamauga passed away February 7, 2018 at his residence. Terry lived in the area for over 18 years and was of the Christian faith. Mr. Smartt was a proud member of the Carpenter's union of Chattanooga, an avid Alabama fan, he loved to fish, watch movies and was an outstanding football player for the Marion county football program where he lettered each of his years. Terry was very energetic and outgoing. More than 26 universities offered Terry scholarships to play football, he was a very talented athlete and will be missed by all who knew him. Terry is preceded in death by his mother; Patricia Louise Sims, brother; Dustin Marvin Smartt; grandfather; Ira Pascal Sims and uncle; Martin Pascal Sims. Survivors include his loving wife Dawn Smartt, children; Zachary Smartt, Colby Smartt and Danielle Bowman, sister's; Patty Griffin, Cheryl Renee Pieri and Lori Braziel, grandmother, Betty Sims, special aunt, Kim Sims and a special cousin Brandon Guinn, and a special friend Mike Bailey, several nieces and nephews as well as extended family also survive.

Family will receive friends 3PM, CST, Saturday, February 17, 2018.

A celebration of life will be 4PM, CST, Saturday February 17, 2018 in the Jasper Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
