Thomas Smith Obituary


Thomas William Smith, age 62, of Jasper, Tennessee, passed away on September 25, 2025. Born on August 2, 1963, Thomas was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Thomas retired from Road and Rail Services, where he dedicated many years of hard work and commitment. He was known for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elvin Smith, and his brother, Jamie Smith.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Mary Smith; children, Holly (Stanley Foster) Smith and William K. Smith, all of Jasper; mother, Diana Davis Smith of Kimball; siblings, Tammy (Robbie) Blevins and Jerry (Cindy) Smith; and grandchildren, Colton Hatfield, Emily Foster, and W. Alex Smith.

Thomas will be remembered for his kind heart, the love he shared with those around him, and the countless memories he created with his family and friends. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Family will receive friends 12PM-8PM, CST, Saturday, Sept 27, 2025.

Funeral Service 2PM, CST, Sunday, Sept 28, 2025, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper.
